Back off, Parma! The cheese is ours! (The fight for Parmigiano-Reggiano.)

You already have prosciutto in all it’s wonderful forms. Then, on top of that you somehow won the battle to get your name plopped down in front of ours for a cheese that is indisputably Reggiano in origin!!

How do I know that Parmigiano-Reggiano hails from the province of Reggio Emilia?

Well, because I am standing here in front of a €30,000 solid block of Cararra marble, carved in the form of a large wedge of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese… where? Bibbiano. Bibbiano di REGGIO EMILIA!!!

Booyah.
